There's still a couple days until the tasting begins, but Wednesday’s launch-party honoured those who make Taste of the Danforth one of the biggest street festivals in North America.
In it’s 15th year, the city is expecting over a million people to flood the streets of Greektown to taste and experience Hellenic culture, entertainment and food.
Kicking off Friday evening, Taste of the Danforth will close Danforth Ave from Broadview to Jones Ave. starting Friday morning.
The festival runs through the weekend (August 8, 9, 10).
