Jane Porter writes great chick lit and mom lit. Fun and fast reads for the summer! Flirting with Forty is a bestseller that Lifetime is making into a movie for Christmas time. Odd Mom Out and the sequel Mrs. Perfect are great stories about strong moms who overcome adversity to find love and romance where they least expected it.

Romance and Action, what more could someone want?? I have persuaded all my friends to read the Twilight Series by Stephanie Mayer, and we haven't been able to find a book that is better. I myself am not thrilled that they are making a movie, so with the movie coming out soon, you MUST read it before December 12!! These books are AMAZING!! I may only be 15, however I have persuaded my mom to read them, and she loves them too (and she's 50!!)!! The Twilight Series is good for any age.
Breaking Dawn (the 4th book) is coming out on August 2!!!!!!!!!!!!
Also try The Gravesaver for mystery

If you like Sophie Kinsella, she is also my favourite author, than you would like Gemma Townley, who is Sophies sister! All her books are soo good, I have them all! Another good author is Meg Cabot, and Holly Petterson, who wrote The Manny. Ive read Sophie Kinsellas new novel Remember Me?, and I totally loved it, I read it in like one day!

You HAVE to read this book. I have read it 3 times and my 18 year old daughter carries it with her everywhere. Her boyfriend bought her the hardcover for her b'day and she won't let anyone touch it. She drags around my paperback copy like a security blanket and keeps reading her favourite parts.

I recently read "Rush Home Road" and "A Memory Keepers Daughter". Both are the type of book that you can't put down. I borrowed them from my boss and so I don't know the authors but she bought them at Chapters so I am sure you can search it.

I just read "Sunday at Tiffany's" by James Patterson. It was great Chick-Lit. It is a touching story that reminded me of the movie City of Angels with Meg Ryan and Nicholas Cage. It's a really fast, easy read, perfect for the beach or cottage.

I Absolutly Love Joy Fielding! Her books are about everyday women with problems. They are a little bit of romance, mystery, crime, sex. Easy reading. I have pretty much all of her books.

Read any books by Irish Author Marian Keyes, esp. 'Lucy Sullivan is getting Married' or 'Rachels Hoilday' - chick lit at its very, very best - I promise you'll love her books - Plus she has a new book just out called 'This Charming Man'.

I personally LOVE Heather Graham, Shelia O'flannagan, Cecelia Ahern(she wrote PS I Love You) and Sandra Brown. I owe pretty much all of these authors books and re-read them constantly. I'm at the store on the day of release for anything new they put out (which is pretty regular with Heather Graham and Sandra Brown). Happy Reading

I have tons of favs: Jonathan Kellerman is great if you like modern mysteries with a psychological edge. James Patterson has also written some great modern mysteries, but some other of his books are nice light beach reading. Janet Evanovitch is another one of my favorites, and you can't beat Jackie Collins when it comes to trashy beach (or patio!) reading. Enjoy!

You should read any book by Lisa Kleypas. She is the best author I have ever read. I just got into her about a year ago, and have already read almost all of the books she has written, and she has written a lot of books! She is wonderful! They are the kind of books you start reading and can't put down.
